play hard at the rainbow bridge little Rock.

We had to put her to sleep this morning. She wasn't moving at all, wouldn't eat or drink and just wasn't herself anymore.
The vet said she probalby had braindamage from the surgery or maybe a tumor in her head.
It was time to let her go.

She still isn't totally recovered from her surgery.
I fear she might have had a small stroke or sufferd some brain damage from the surgery.
She isn't using her front paw and one of her hind legs normally.
But does love her cuddles and free time on the couch.

So this is our senior ratty home.
Not that I'm caling you old little rocky ;)
but this is where she is recovering from her surgery.
She does mis her friend arrow but they spend o lot of time together on the couch.

Little rock had some major surgery on monday.
The vet expected a routine tumor removal surgery but things turned out different. The tumors where bigger then they thougt and it was a long surgery. I was suposed to pick her op monday afternoon but she wasn't back to normal enough to go hme.
So I had to leave her there overnight. The vet took her home to care for her.
Yesterday things got even worse.
She has had some kind of breathing problems all her life and it got worse.
So when we went to visit her yesetrday it was quite a shok. She looked so bad...
They are giving her oxygen, antibiotics and painkillers but things are looking bad....
I'm not ready to lose my little rocky-baby..

9.07 am update:
I just spoke to the vet. She is doing a lot better today. She's off the oxygen and in a normal cage instead of an incubator.
She has been drinking from a bowl and is a little moren active today. They're even talking about her maybe coming home today.
july 14th 2011 update.
She is still at the vet's office.
They stuck her back in the incubator yesterdayafternoon because she still had some trouble keeping herself warm. We went to see her today. She was looking a lot better. Stumbling around, looking more awake and even cleaning herself. She still not eating properly but they're giving her high calorie catfoodpaste. We brought some of her own food today so I hope she is eating better.
She is still having some trouble breathing but it's better then yesterday =)
If she doesn't get any worse we can take her home tomorrow

The last picture I took of her.
She died a few days ago. My boyfriend found her in her cage, she passed away in her sleep.
She joined her sister Lavender at the rainbow bridge.
