Dear friends,i know this is not a perfect picture to comment.Not composed well,not framed properly&exposed.I got this image from a passenger train where i am the co traveller in the next compartment.i have exposed it after hearing the last horn.i am also in hurry to get into the train.i will be so desperate if i had left it un exposed.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gcLmn_gU5bs

It is the annual vaccation time in India.Children had a great pressure on me to take them to enjoy the vacation.Anyway,i had a nice trip with family to the Nilgiris.(Ootty)a beautiful hill station in south India..A nice journey in the hill train was the main purpose.We reached the Mettupalayam railway station early at 0500am to obtain the tickets.My 6yr old son was also so thrilled to travel in the toy train. Unfortunately,It was full upto June.So we could;nt get the Mettupalyam-ootty train.On seeing my worries the station master informed that another train is fromCoonoor which leaves at 0745 am.So we rushed to Coonoor.Thank God,i got tickets in that train.It is only 1 hr 20 mnts journey.During the journey i saw an old gentle couple is sitting in the next
seat.Her name is Genevois,a nice lady from France with her husband. I found she was really enjoying the journey in the chilly morning.She was so talkative and look very pleasant.She talk to me a lot but all his attention was in taking photos only&found least interested in talking anything..with in the short period we talk almost everything under the sun and we became so close.I was also looking the outside through the same window.Immediately,i have noticed that this gentle man is having a close resemblance with Mr.George Bush,the former US President in one angle.I took some photographs her hubby without their consent.After reaching ootty railway station,I told her about the crime that i have made (taking photos without their consent) and it was just meant to show her only.I expressed my willingness to delete the photgraphs at their presence.She was so surprised looking at her hubbys "orginal face".The "serious man"&his other friends in the train used to laugh at this capture.She want to get the copy of the snaps by email.i have mailed the same and she was so happy see her hubbys "Hidden"face.........!!I love this couple and will remember for ever..........!!

Dear friends, i have got the best photographer award in a photography exhibition conducted by the Press club at kottayam called COLOURS2008.The man in the picture is Mr Mons Joseph,the hon; minister for Public works department in Kerala state.This picture is so relevent in the current political scenario of the state.It is purely a news picture and dont see with the sharp eyes photo criticism.It was taken when he was attending in the rasa(the religious procession in the church where he belongs)wearing the traditional snana vasthra(the decorated coloured dress) and holding a lighted candle&;a crown made up of flowers along with thousands of devotees.I was awarded a certificate and a digital camera by the minister himself in a meeting held at kottayam.This picture was taken on behalf of Malayala Manorama ,the largest media of the state,where i had my internal ship after my photo journalism studies.

A man who pray to the God (Sun) during his bath in the early morning.According to the Hindu belief,the SUN is considered as a Lord,the solar diety who riding in a chariot drawn by seven horses and the God Surya(the sun)is worshipped throughout a large number of Sun temples in India.(One among them is Konark,famous for its architect)Usually people take three dips into the water and took some water on their hands and pour before the Lord Surya & hold their hands over their head and pray for a while.Here is such a picture captured with Olympus OM2000 film camera.........!!check web site konark.nic.in & en.wikipedia.org/wiki/konarak to know more about Lord surya
