when i told mom i had made blue sugar cookies she said, "of course." i think i have a thing for dying food blue. it's probably because one year, when i was little, my mom wouldn't let me have blue frosting on my birthday cake (she said blue is the color of mold, but i was allowed to have green frosting which i argued is way closer to the color of mold).

yes, nano burnt his finger lighting those candles. i made this cake. due to limited supplies... it is a chocolate cake with white frosting and a secret layer of peanut butter between the two layers of cake.

so i told my friends that i would know when the opening day of ice cream season was, because it would fall out of the sky. this is the day it happened. ice cream season is the time of year when it is acceptable to eat ice cream everyday.
