HDR black and white shot of the windows at the Tian'anmen Gate, Beijing, China

The original shot was not bright enough, the lighter shot was too bright due to the light coming in the windows and the darker shot was too gloomy - the HDR turned out just like I wanted this shot to be. The original shots were already black & white only due to the heavy light difference, but I turned the result to greyscale explicitly to get rid of the chromatic aberration effects.

I would have never expected to find 3(!) basketball courts just between China's most sacred building, the Tian'anmen (Gate of Heavenly Peace) and the Forbidden City. In this photo some Chinese security guards assembled before they replaced the previous shift.
