This photo shows something about photography that I find fascinating. The scene represented here never really happened.

This seems to be a picture of a fountain with no people. In fact, there were three people skateboarding through the fountain on the right, some tourists on the left and a man walked through from right to left directly in front of the camera. The long exposure erased all of the activity and left only the fountain. People sometimes think that a camera captures exactly what's there. What I find fascinating is that that's not always true.
