staring down the center of the church, onto the podium and organs. It also appears that high ranking members of the church sat in this area.

many of the stained glass windows were orange and cast this stunning orange light throughout the church.

Sometimes it amazes me how well preserved some of these abandoned churches are. With the exception of various patches of peeling paint (and unorganized pews not seen here), you'd think it was still in use.

Gorgeous and ornate even through abandonment, the primary stage at the majestic theater has maintained its beauty through intricate painting murals, patterns and a striped curtain that seems to be in almost perfect condition. I truly hope this place receives the funding to reopen.
