A HDR composition of the sunset over Mirepoix. I actually walked quite a way out of town to get this shot, and I guess it didn't turn out too bad. I need to figure out a way of reducing the lens flare though when taking sunsets.

I thought I'd have a go at doing some water droplet macro pictures. It turned out that it was not as easy as I first thought...

I started out using just water droplets on glass, but ended up with some fairly poor results. To get the proper 'beaded' effect I ended up using oil drops on the surface of a thin layer of water.

With the appropriate foreground set, I needed a background. What you are seeing there is about 6 CDs laying data-side up. A few torches around the place gave the right spectral effect.

Taken while walking the 3rd section of London's Capital Ring: Grove Park to Crystal Palace.

Three exposures (0,+/-2) taken in high burst mode. Cokin P121 (ND8 grad filter). Merged in Photoshop with a few tweaks to the 'Surreal' standard setting.

Again, taken at sunset from the terrace on top of our Riad. This cat was just prowling around, I mannaged to capture it when it had just stopped on the apex.
