Chicago- Foggy Loop Skyline in B&W

Looking South from the John Hancock Center in Chicago toward the Chicago Loop skyline. A pure urban vista with tall buildings piercing the sky. Fog is rolling in off of Lake Michigan going to the East. Water Tower Place is on the far left and the Chicago Park Hyatt is on the right, with the Trump Tower Chicago and the Willis(Sears) Tower in the center. The tendrils of fog infiltrate the Loop snaking from north to south.2010

08042008 - A SEVERE storm blew through the Windy City around 8:22pm. There was a tremendous amount of rain, wind, thunder and lightning. The windows bowed and suspended lights swung. - At times you could not see out the window - good night. Both the video and the still were shot handheld on a Sony N-2 ultra compact camera. the Park Hyatt is on the right and you can see it get hit by lightning. see the still at - flickr.com/photos/siefken/2734423030/
