definitely not an arizona shot.
the northeast is going to get hit by a holy snowstorm or sorts, and i know it is cause for alarm. but, i miss the snow. the day i took this the whole world was insulated and quiet. being born in january, there is a certain kinship in that.

what else would a camera-toter do when stopped for 7 full minutes by a train...in the middle of the country...at 11pm. i set my camera on the hood of my van and prepared for a long-exposure shot. yes!

the little guy running in my parents' backyard. running with all his heart. lots of space to go, go, go when he's there.

the hubby leaves tomorrow morning. it will be three weeks until we catch up with him again in phoenix. {enter whichever sighing sound you feel appropriate here}

a wolf moon is the largest full moon of the year

i just had to pull my car over to get this shot. it was amazing.
