&lt;p&gt;I have very few still life shots in my portfolio of photographs so here's one for the stream.  Since I love both baseball and jazz I decided that this was the likely candidate.  This shot was taken in my home with an Olympus E-510..&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
As a child my favorite ballplayer was a rookie by the name of Henry Aaron.  Who could have guessed at the time that he would go on to become baseball's greatest legitimate home run king of all time.   No steroids, no fanfare, all consistent strength one day after another.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Some of my earliest musical influences were based in opera (Italian, French and German) and jazz.  I just loved Dinah Washington's soulful renderings.  As time went on my tastes in jazz became a passion.   &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So here, in these photos, Professor Bop is a Boppin' ...&lt;/p&gt;</description>
