Finally I arrived here in Padang city as my first destination before traveling to the Medan city and Kuala Lumpur. I visited the city in the framework of participation in a national congress of midwives throughout Indonesia. after this photo may be some images that I will show the city of Padang.
This is a characteristic house Minang tribe residing in the provinces of West Sumatra. This form of roof water buffalo horn. Buffalo in the Minang language is "kabau" and almost all the buildings here including the building of government agencies and private use other forms of roof like this.

Chofah or Sky Tassel is one of the Thai architectural decorative ornament adorns the top at the end of Wat and palaces roof in most of the south east Asia contries, such as Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and etc.. It resembles a tall thin bird or hornlike, and is generally believed to represent the mythical creature Garuda, half bird and half man, who carried the god Vishnu across the sky.

This red colored roof is specific made of clay, almost every house in Jakarta, Java, and Bali use this kind of roof, just as this Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
