I've been out to try to catch some Draconids Shooting stars but the sky was very bright due to a big almost full moon. So I failled in capturing a shooting star but anyway I'm pretty happy with the resulting star trails.
For this image I used 2 features of StarStaX
1 - I made six 60" images at 200 ISO blended in Average mode in StarStax to have a good foreground exposure without noise.
2 - Stacking of 145 single 60 seconds exposures at 100 ISO (and 10 Dark Frames) with StarStaX in light mode for the star trails
Then I manually blended the 2 resulting images with a layer mask in PS CS4
