नेपाली रुद्राक्ष दा, Lord Shiva, rudra,

Rudraksha stems from Hindu mythology and means "the eyes of Shiva". The mythology that surrounds the Rudraksha is that the Hindu god Shiva meditated on the welfare of all mankind and cried tears of compassion, peace and joy. These tears upon hitting the earth crystallized to form these seeds. The divine qualities of this bead were first noted in ancient Hindu scriptures. They bless one with peace of mind; protect against evil doers and spirits; and bless with peace and prosperity.

Pilgrims at the Pushkar Mela, India,

During full moon in November, (Kartik Purnima) pilgrims from all over India participate in the Pushkar Mela. They bathe in Pushkar lake right in the dessert up there in the north of Rajasthan to get rid of their karma. They are being blessed by a priest, a pujari. A famous temple dedicated to Lord Brahma ब्रह्मा is to be found here. It was here according to mythology where God Brahma dropped three leaves which later on became the lake.

Padmanab Goswami of holy Radha raman temple in Vrindavan is holding a puja at the Yamuna in Vrindavan. This is a very holy ceremony
Vrindavan has a distinct style to celebrate Janmashtamiof its own. The processions heavily decorated with 'Jhankis' or tableaus, depicting various episodes of Lord Krishna's life, are brought out in the city. The most spectacular displays during the period are the gold and silver 'Jhulas' or swings that are taken out on display only during the occasion.

Sri Radha-Raman manifestation - Janmashtami in Vrindavan/India on Flickriver

The Deity of Sri Radha-Raman was manifested from one of Gopala Bhatta Gosvami’s shalagram-shilas (Damodara), on the full moon day (Purnima), 15th day of the month of Vaishaka (April-May) in 1542.

Each year the manifestation is being celebrated. The deity Radha-Raman is bathed in panchamrita with over 1000 litres of milk and other auspicious items as honey, tea and good water.
In the picture you see Swami Padmanab Goswami and his son Chandan bathing the Deity.

This Sikh (Punjabi Sikhī, ਸਿੱਖੀ) devotee is doing his seva in Delhi at the Gurdwara Bangla Sahib. He looks after the holy lake in which the gurdwara is situated. People are allowed to clean themselves before entering the temple but have to behave properly. This is what he is about as he told me.

The core philosophy of the Sikh religion can be understood in the beginning hymn of the holy Guru Granth Sahib,
“ There is one supreme eternal reality; the truth; immanent in all things; creator of all things; immanent in creation. Without fear and without hatred; not subject to time; beyond birth and death; self-revealing. Known by the Guru’s grace."”

Guru Nanak, the founder of the faith, summed up the basis of Sikh lifestyle in three requirements: Naam Japo, Kirat Karni and Wand kay Shako, which means meditate on the holy name (Waheguru), work diligently and honestly and share one's fruits.

Kurt Schmidt, a "Weltenbummler" from Germany collected about 500 masks from all over the world and disposed many of them in his 3 stories bar in Altea, Costa Blanca.
Masks have been used since antiquity for both ceremonial and practical purposes. Ritual masks: The function of the masks may be magical or religious; they may appear in rites of passage or as a make-up for a form of theatre. Equally masks may disguise a penitent or preside over important ceremonies; they may help mediate with spirits, or offer a protective role to the society who utilise their powers.
