I asked if I could take photos, she said, "you make take a few". I asked if I could squeak behind the counter and shoot the hat forms, she replied, "no".

They make hats for Chicago blues legends like Buddy Guy etc... Very high dollar. Such a cool shop.

A little better example of this film and developer combo.

It's been a while since I've gone out with just an old 35mm slr and a 50mm with black and white film. That's all I ever used to do. It takes a while to get back into that mindset. So few keepers from this roll. Of course, I spent a lot of this roll trying to capture the perfect winter landscape which always eludes me ...sigh... I like this FE2 though. We'll be seeing more of that.

Hi All.

So here's what's been going on for the last several months in a nut shell. Still working on my divorce. Met someone, fell in love (head over heals), had my heart broken, met someone else (way too soon but what are you gonna do), still seeing her and haven't done much of any shooting. Sold my Canon XTi and had no digital for a while. Then my dad sent me his XTi because he doesn't use it anymore. (I can't seem to get rid of the XTi, I'll just embrace it). Anywho, it's been the motivation that I've needed to start shooting again. So here's the first fruits of the new but old but new XTi. I have other projects in the works. I'm shooting 2 bands (3 shows) in Feb and March. And I've got a couple Holga things I'm playing with. Stay tuned....
