Our new puppies...they were dumped at the Humane Society 3 weeks ago, so we picked them up for foster. Polly is ~7 weeks here. She's the cutest little playball. Loves to chew, chase and just plain make trouble.

Caught these on a wine tour in San Louis Obispo, CA. All of the state is in "poppy bloom" at the moment and it's just gorgeous!
The partial light here is natural...the sun was just peeking through a tree over the poppies.

This is the historic and beautiful Church of St Peter and St Paul in Northleach UK. It dates from the 12th century, but was transformed by the wool trade in the 15th century into the gorgeous building it is today.

The end to an interesting hike in Guitings Wood in the Cotswolds. I'd managed to get stuck up to my knees in mud in the woods, and had to hike back in my socks. I got this shot as I was resting by my car waiting for the mud to dry out.
This shot is a combo of 2 exposures (one for foreground and one for background) combined w/ gradient tool & blending in Photoshop.

This is a shot from a 10-mile hike I took w/ my sis in the Cotswolds near Winchcombe UK. The Cotswolds are a beautiful, lush area in the South-East of UK. As a hiker you're allowed to walk through the fields.

Morning dew taken using extention tubes & a 50mm on a tripod.
I thought the little palm tree reflection was pretty cool.
The brokeh is all natural from the tubes (and a little background breeze).

This guy was heading out to catch the last waves on Del Mar beach in San Diego.
I'm definitely gonna learn how to surf this year!

First light warms up a snail in SW France, but he might be going the wrong way.
It was a chilly 5 degress celcius, but a beautiful crisp light.

The local town next to my parents house in SW France. Taken during an afternoon stroll w/ my dad. There's a grand total of ~70 people living in the Commune here, and this little town of ~5 houses and one church is the center of it all.

Caught w/ my extention tubes on 50mm lens. Took a few shots to get this right 'coz of the manual focus w/ the tubes. This guy was busy collecting pollen and had just raised his head from the flower.

It was just a perfectly clear, still sunset last night in SW France.
Not a cloud in the sky, an intense orange glow, and a quiet silhouette in the garden.
I was awestruck and in photography heaven!
