I glanced at the window shortly after breakfast. I just finished tying my shoelaces. Its still early morning -- but who wouldn't be up so late. Its not everyday you're in this northern European port -- and one of the most photogenic in all of Europe.

Rio S. Pantalon from Ponte Vinante. In my short stay of Venice, I think Rio refers to small canals, while Ponte refers to a Bridge. So this canal is called "S. Panatalon", taken from the Vinante Bridge.

With an island like this, it is difficult to miss summertime in Cebu. A resort on the east side, and in the foreground(west side), is a fish sanctuary, teeming with corals, and a huge variety of species of fish, that you can view closely to the point that you can touch them. And you can do all that with just snorkeling.

Shot taken off the southeastern coast of Mactan Island, just a few minutes of side trip on the way to the airport. This island is called Hilutungan Island -- a few kilometers off the southeast coast of Mactan Island.

Its not everyday you can tour the southern part of Cebu in a calm and sunny day like this. Stopping near the port that takes one to Sumilon Island a few kilometers to the southeast. In the distance is the mountain range of Bohol. The cool breeze is gone. It is not March yet, but in this part of the Philippines, summer is officially here.

Taken from an opposite side of the canal -- on an empty port. At this point, most of Venice, seems to be eerily quiet. The locals were anticipating floods as the tide was rising. With the rain and the temperature dropping, most of the tourists are out of sight.
