A new lightpaintng experiment. My daughter was trigger the camera, I was using a Maglight to convert water and lighting the place :-) Lightroom was use to balance the light.

After this shoot, two hours of night walk for get to us car...

Hier, une nouvelle expérimentation de "light Painting" . Ma fille a déclenché l'appareil photo moi j'étais armé de ma Maglight en train de convertir l'eau en lumière et éclairer l'environnement. Le traitement dans Lightroom a permis de balance les éclairages.

Après cette photo 2 heures de marche la nuit nous attendait pour retrouver la voiture...

The night after arrived to Paris form Los Angeles I was totally in jetlag. But with Davide and Jean-Francois I find the energy to do night shot at Montmartre.

La nuit de mon arrivé à Paris depuis Los Angeles, j'étais en plein décalage horaire... Mais avec deux amis photographes (Davide et Jean-Francois), j'ai trouvé l'énergie pour faire des photos nocturnes dans Montmartre.

This morning, the light was interesting when I was coming to work... I explored the La river close to Dreamworks.. I find this interesting location... and played with the overexposure..

I have some idea for use this location..
Now I need to find the time to do it...

Ce matin là, la lumière était interessante quand je me rendais a mon travail. J'ai exploré les bord de la rivière de Los Angeles. J'y est découvert cet lieu étrange... J'ai joué avec la surexposition..

J'ai quelques idee de photos creatives dans ce lieu...

After many try, I got this strange light during the 14th July fireworks at Rose Bowl. It's look like more a storm or a alien phenomenon. Sorry for the noise of this picture, it's was very hard to expose well this shot.

Après de nombreuses tentatives, j'ai réussi à figer cette étrange lumière du feux d'artifice sur le Rose Bowl de Pasadena. Il me semble voir plus un orage, voir un phénomène extraterrestre. Désolé pour le grain dans la photo, cela n'était pas facile de trouver la bonne exposition.

Los Angeles is so nice after winter rain !!! I will miss that green very soon :-(

I still impress about the tree density in that city. With this point of view, it look like a forest with some home :-)

Loa Angeles est si belle après le pluie de l'hiver !!! Cette saturation de vert vat me manquer dans quelques mois :-(

La chose qui m'impressionne encore est la nombre d'arbres à Los Angeles. Avec cette type de point de vue, on a l'impression presque de se retrouver en pleine campagne :-)

Los Angeles (Glendale and Burbank) paint by orange haze du of sunset. Du of big winter rain, we can see the mountain generally hide by the smog.

This picture is take from a new location, I like explore the mountain for get "helicopter" point of view. I use Google Earth for find the location and the access. Like usual, I share the geo-location in Flickr.

Los Angeles (Glendale et Burbank) baigné dans une atmosphère orange. Grace à l'hiver très pluvieux, la chaine de montagnes de l'horizon à 50-60 km sont visibles. Normalement le smog se charge de les effacer.

Ce cliché est pris depuis un nouveau lieu. J'ai explorer les montagnes de la ville à la recherche de point de vue "hélicoptère". Pour le repérage, j'utilise Google Earth pour trouve le lieu et son accès. Comme pour l'ensemble de mes photos, je partage la géo-localisation sur Flickr (au cas ou vous passez à Los Angeles).

A break before Death Valley. A desert primitive camping but we go space and it's was cheap. Just make sure that no snake in my sleeping bag :-) It isn't not my car :-)

1 hour before police stop me at Big Pine for a alcohol test.. For cause I haven't drink alcohol. An interesting experience :-)

Une heure avant de me faire arrêter par deux voitures de police a Big Pine, le "petite" ville dans la vallée. Bon pour un test d'alcoolémie car j'avais fait un écart en cherchant me lunette. Je n'avais évidement pas bue mais l'expérience était intéressante :-)

Dans la foret nationale de San Bernardino, cette nuit était trop belle pour dormir :-)
Sur cette photo je me trouve derrière la tente, j'utilise ma lampe frontale pour éclairer la tente. Le jeu est de trouver le bon équilibre entre mon éclairage et la luminosité du ciel.

To create this picture I created a total unlighted room, place my camera on tripod, place a manual exposure, try to find the god exposure with different tests. Set the camera do shot sequence 10 pictures and play with the Ikea sphere fiber optical, like kung fu :-)

Pour réaliser cette photo , j'ai du en premier attendre d'être en pleine nuit, créer une pièce totalement noir, pas facile quand on habite en ville. Le Nikon D700 est poser du un trépied, en mode manuel. Quelques test on été nécessaire pour trouver la bonne exposition (vive le numérique) ! J'ai ensuite prise de séquences de 10 photos de mes mouvements de kung fu avec la sphère de lumières en fibres optiques (vive Ikea) ! Seulement 20 photos ont été nécessaire.

16 days without Internet connection !!!

Charter Internet cable need to come 4 times to my home, I spend many hours "fighting" by phone to explain Charter need to change the cable going to the pole to my home. At end the last technical do it ! And I'm online !!!

It's very stage to have a computer without internet, it's like a empty box !

Charter, le fouisseur local du câble a envoyé 4 techniciens pour m'installer Internet dans ma nouvelle demeure.J'ai passé de nombreuses heures au téléphone pour leur faire comprendre que le problème venait probablement du câble qui relit ma maison au le poteau. Le dernier technicien a finalement changer le câble et j'ai retrouvé ma connexion tant attendu !!!

C'est fou comme un ordinateur sans Internet ressemble a une simple boite vide !

Un des employer de Dreamworks a transformer sa Dolorean comme celle du film !
