This is Porter, he's a beagle coonhound mutt who was adopted by my friend here in town. He's 1 year and about 6 months of age.

Due to his severe separation anxiety I have become his baby sitter and trainer. He's dropped off in the morning and stays here till 5:30 pm. Thankfully he's just like my dog, Casie, except he has bouts of puppyness, loving to romp around.

So far we've been good about staying out of the kitchen, no jump, sit, down, and working on stay. He's learning other rules involving food (like no begging) and playing nice, no nips (but kisses are ok!). In time he'll turn into another potato just like our Casie, he's already on the way there!

Casie in mid-wiggle. She was very excited about being outside with momma, it's been too cold outside for me so when she goes out in the mornings it's been by herself with Olley cat.

Wiggle dog.

Before people get into a fury about her tail dock, that is not our doing, she is a rescue.

This youngin' showed up earlier this morning, unfortunately when I grabbed the camera I learned the battery was dead. I hoped it'd come back around later, and it did! By then the camera battery was charged and I managed to get this shot of it before my outdoor cat, Ollie, scared it off.

Kitchen Remodel

Sometimes I like to pretend I can remodel the places I live in to see what I could come up with. In this case, the only changes I would make would be adding the tile under the window, above the countertop and oven, and repainting the kitchen to a warmer but soft yellow orange. The cabinetry would also be repainted solid white and the knobs replaced with something more organic (not shown).

The perspective is a mess, I know :( I'm still learning with architectural illustration.

Bobaface is my adopted and rather cheeky but awesome bearded dragon. My friend asked me to take him as she didn't have as much time to spend as she'd have liked, so we did.
He's about 4 years old and known as BobaCake, Face, Or just plain ol' Boba.

This is Casie, she's quite the lazy, special, awesome dog. I've never known a dog who's more chilled out or can bring out the life in a shy child...No this isn't bias! :)

People often ask us what kind of dog she is, we just say "She's a good one."

A rather interesting capture, fawn squirrel and hurricane squirrel! These two were stuffing their faces on my bird feeder :)
