Anemone nemorosa is an early-spring flowering plant in the genus Anemone in the family Ranunculaceae, native to Europe. Common names include wood anemone, windflower, thimbleweed, smell fox and helmet flower, an allusion to the musky smell of the leaves. Sunny autumn afternoon at the pond with ducks and one swan in a park in Bad Wimpfen, Germany.

Bad Wimpfen is a historic spa town in the district of Heilbronn in the Baden-Württemberg region of southern Germany. It is situated on the west bank of the River Neckar, around 15 km to the north of Heilbronn.
The town is divided in two parts: The older Wimpfen im Tal (Lower Wimpfen/ literally Wimpfen in the valley) situated at the Neckar and Wimpfen am Berg (Upper Wimpfen/ literally Wimpfen on the hill) containing the town centre. Besides of the town itself the village Hohenstadt also belongs to Bad Wimpfen.
In present-day Bad Wimpfen the town is impressive both due to its various spa institutions and due to its numerous fine historic buildings. The historical old part of the town is protected completely. Since 1976 a comprehensive program of redevelopment resulted in an important restoration of most buildings. Due to the recession of the 1990s, private initiatives have now superseded the earlier state interventions, but generally development speed has decreased and settled. (Wikipedia)

Bad Wimpfen ist eine Kurstadt am Neckar im Landkreis Heilbronn in Baden-Württemberg. Die Stadt war einst mittelalterliche Stauferpfalz, später Freie Reichsstadt und von 1803 bis 1945 eine hessische Exklave.
Bad Wimpfen liegt am linken Ufer des Neckars etwa 10 km nordnordwestlich von Heilbronn (Luftlinie). Sein älterer Teil, Wimpfen im Tal, zieht sich längs des Flusses in seiner dort recht breiten linken Aue. Etwas westlich davon steht Wimpfen am Berg auf dem zum Kraichgau hin ansteigenden oberen Hang links des Flusstals. Dort wurde im Mittelalter die Stauferpfalz und das Stadtzentrum auf einem Ostsporn über dem Prallhang des darunter nach Norden abbiegenden Flusses und eines kleinen, diesem stumpf aus Südwesten zulaufenden Nebentals erbaut; die neueren Stadtteile breiten sich in flacherem Anstieg vor allem nach Westen aus.
In der Gegenwart beeindruckt Bad Wimpfen gleichermaßen durch seine Kureinrichtungen als auch durch seinen reichen Bestand an Bau- und Kunstdenkmälern aus zwei Jahrtausenden. Die historische Altstadt ist komplett denkmalgeschützt. Ein umfangreiches Sanierungsprogramm konnte ab 1976 zur Aufwertung der meisten historischen Gebäude beitragen. Seit der Rezession der 1990er-Jahre geht jedoch die weitere Sanierung von Bau- und Kunstdenkmälern zumeist nur noch auf private Initiative zurück (Wikipedia). Blue Hour in Schluchsee

It was a beautiful day and evening in Schluchsee (Black Forest, Germany) and same named lake.
I hadn't have my tripod with me. So I helped myself with a railing next to the footpath ;-).

The Schluchsee is a reservoir lake in the district of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald, southeast of the Titisee in the Black Forest near Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany.
The Schluchsee, with its height of 930 metres above sea level, is the highest reservoir in Germany and also the largest lake in the Black Forest. By contrast the Hornberg Basin (Hornbergbecken), is 1,048 metres above sea level, but is the upper basin of a pumped storage hydropower station, rather than a reservoir.
The water of the reservoir is relatively cool even in summer because of its high elevation.
The best-known settlements around the Schluchsee are on its northern shores and include the eponymous town of Schluchsee and the hamlets of Seebrugg by the dam itself and Aha. The Three Lakes Railway, an extension of the Höllentalbahn, runs from Titisee station along the northern shore to the terminus at Seebrugg.
The Schluchsee is surrounded by numerous walking trails in the local area. The entire length of the shoreline, about 18 km long, is walkable, mostly level and suitable for prams. From May to October the walks may be combined with boat trips on the pleasure cruiser St. Nikolaus (en.wikipedia).

On one of my hikes through the Black Forest I saw this Oldtimer travelling on a country road. It came just around the curve and I hadn't the best position to take a quick photo but I like it anyway or maybe because of that.

The Wutachschlucht (the spectacular “Wutach Gorge”) is a section of the Gorge Trail and a popular hiking trail in southern Black Forest, Germany.
It is a nature reserve and conservation area known as the Grand-Canyon of the Black Forest. The hike means to run often over narrow trails, to climb up steep tracks or ladders sometimes and to run over rought and smooth. The trail is of amazing nature, very interesting, impressive and sometimes breathtaking and is not recommended with ice and snow.

Wanderung in der Wutachschlucht ... dabei geht es über Stock und Stein, steile Wege, Treppen, Brücken, manchmal steil auf und ab, zum Teil sehr enge Strecken durch Geländer und/oderSeile gesichert. Eine fantastisch schöne, sehr interessante, eindrucksvolle und teilweise atemberaubende Schlucht. Bei Eis und Schnee nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Für alle, die mehr darüber wissen möchten, es gibt sehr viel über die Schlucht zu lesen in Wikipedia.

The Wutachschlucht (The spectacular “Wutach Gorge” is a section of the Gorge Trail) is a popular hiking trail in southern Black Forest, Germany. It is a nature reserve and conservation area known as the Grand-Canyon of the Black Forest. The hike means to run often over narrow trails, to climb up steep tracks or ladders sometimes and to run over rought and smooth. The trail is of amazing nature, very interesting, impressive and sometimes breathtaking and is not recommended with ice and snow.
