Just had a look in my archive and found this one. It was taken last year in spring in the surrounding of my hometown Fellbach (Region Stuttgart, Germany). The path goes up to a small hill from which you have a beautiful view at the forest and the river Neckar.
I like the curves and the way in which the trail runs through the photo.

Bei einem Blick in mein Archiv fand ich dieses Bild. Ich habe es letztes Jahr im Frühjahr hier bei Fellbach aufgenommen. Der Wanderweg führt auf einen kleinen Hügel von dem aus ein wunderschöner Blick auf den Wald und den Neckar möglich ist.
Mir gefielen die Kurven und die Art wie der Weg durch das Foto verläuft.

Ostend (Dutch: Oostende, French: Ostende) is a city in Belgium and municipality located in the Flemish province of West Flanders. It comprises the boroughs of Mariakerke, Stene and Zandvoorde, and the city of Ostend proper - the largest on the Belgian coast.
Formerly a 15th century medieval fishing village which has grown into a town. During the 18th century, the "Ostend Company" brought wealth to the town through trade with the Far East.
Ostend is situated on the North Sea coast, approximately midway along the 40-mile Belgian coastline stretching from De Panne via Nieuwpoort - Westende - Middelkerke - Oostende - Den Haan - Blankenberge to Knokke.
Very important for the image of the city was the attention from the Belgian kings Leopold I and Leopold II. Both liked to spend their vacations in Ostend. Important monuments and villas were built to please the Royal Family. The rest of aristocratic Belgium followed and soon Ostend became known as "The Queen of the Belgian sea-side resorts". Nowadays the Royal Court only visits Ostend on official occasions. Ostend
The "Royal Villa" beside the beach (built in the reign of King Leopold I) has been transformed into a hotel-restaurant. Take a look at the whole Thermae Palace.

Galerie an der königlichen Strandpromenade

Ostende (niederländisch Oostende) ist eine Hafenstadt und ein Seebad an der Nordseeküste in Belgien in der Provinz Westflandern mit rund 69.000 Einwohnern.
In Ostende befinden sich die ehemalige königliche Sommerresidenz, ein Kurbad, Jachthäfen, Fischereihäfen, Werften und ein Fährhafen für den Verkehr nach England.
Ostende wird auch als die "Königin der Seebäder" bezeichnet und ist eine lebendige Stadt mit malerischen Ecken, einem gemütlichen Vergnügungsviertel und einer abwechslungsreichen Gastronomie mit etwa 300 Restaurants. Die Strandpromenade erstreckt sich über den gesamten Seedeich und ist von Strassencafes sowie eleganten und einfacheren Restaurants gesäumt.
Mit der weltweit längsten Strassenbahn " der Kunsttram " erreicht man alle belgischen Orte an der Küste von De Panne bis Knokke. Die belgischen Könige Leopold I und Leopold II verbrachten ihre Ferien in Ostende und es wurden prachtvolle Villen gebaut, um die königliche Familie zu erfreuen. Daraufhin folgten noch andere belgische Aristokraten und Ostende wurde bekannt als "Königin der Seebäder". Heute besucht die königliche Familie Ostende nur noch zu offiziellen Anlässen. Die königliche Villa am Strand wurde unter der Herrschaft von Leopold I gebaut und ist heute ein Hotel und Restaurant Thermae Palace.
Der Gang durch die Galerie auf den Fussboden mit dem tollen Muster schien endlos zu sein .....

The fisherman on the pier in Ostend, (Belgium) has to exercise patience. I asked me whether he has fun, the sun wasn't shining and the weather was not so nice ... it was a rather dark and rainy day. The light was not the best but the rain stopped and I could take this scene. The peace and atmosphere were beautiful and it seems to be a very quiet place on earth.
From the end of the pier you can look at the city, the skyline and houses of Ostende. There is a little lighthouse and only a few anglers tried their luck. You can see the lighthouse in the additional photos. The beach was nearly devoid of people. No interesting things except the "skyline" which I really don't like. You also can see the photo in my comment.

Der Angler stand relativ allein auf der Seebrücke in Ostende, Belgien und musste sich in Geduld üben. Ich fragte mich, ob es ihm wohl wirklich Spaß macht, die Sonne war nicht zu sehen und das Wetter war nicht so schön .... es war ein ziemlich dunkler und leicht verregneter Tag. Mir gefiel die Stimmung und Atmosphäre sowie der Frieden, den die Szene ausstrahlte. Das Licht war zwar nicht gut, aber zum Glück hatte der Regen nachgelassen und ich konnte dieses Foto machen.
Am Ende von der Seebrücke kann man auf die Stadt von Ostende schauen. Dort steht es kleiner Leuchtturm und es waren nur wenige andere Fischer, die ihr Glück im Fischen versuchten. Der Strand war auch so ziemlich menschenleer, das könnt ihr auf dem Foto im Kommentar sehen. Außer der Skyline von Ostende, die mir nicht gefiel, gab es nichts Interessantes zu sehen.

Wizard of New Zealand

He is also known as Archwizard of Canterbury and comes daily (when the weather is fine) on the Cathedral Square in Christchurch (New Zealand, South Island). In front of the steps to the Christchurch Catheral the Wizard "preaches".

The Wizard already a legend with a lot of humor preaches from the everyday life and things and plays pranks with the audience in front of the steps to the Christchurch Cathedral. He is such a likable person! Anyone who will ever visit Christchurch, should not miss his performance!

Update March 2011:
After the 2011 Christchurch earthquake the Wizard has planned to retire and leave Christchurch for good saying the town he loved had gone and that it was a end of an era. He will be going with his mother to Oamaru, but not before wading through knee-deep water to help rescue Resthome Manager Sue Milligan's dog "Molly".

The Wizard was awarded the Queen's Service Medal in the Queen's Birthday Honours list of 2009.

Er ist auch als Archwizard of Canterbury bekannt und kommt täglich bei schönem Wetter auf den Cathedral Square in Christchurch (Südinsel Neuseeland), um an an den Treppenstufen der Christ Church Catheral zu "predigen".

Der Wizard - schon eine Legende - erzählt mit sehr viel Humor von den alltäglichen Dingen des Lebens und spielt Streiche mit dem Publikum. Er ist eine so liebenswerte Person! Wer einmal nach Christchurch kommt, sollte sich seine Vorstellung nicht entgehen lassen!
(Aufgenommen mit meiner damaligen Minolta Spiegelreflex.)
