All right, I have new found respect for nature photographers.

The tree outside my apartment is frequently visited by all sorts of birds. One morning, I found a lot of parrot sounds. I quickly grabbed my cam, and I had to search for this fella amidst the green leaves.

And when I found him, he was incredibly active. I pretty much sat there for 7 min, and took about 25 photographs, and this was the only decent only decent one.

Phew!

the lotus is India's national flower. here, you can see it in a uncleaned algae ridden dirty pond, but the very radiance of the flower makes you forget where it is. almost like how India shines in-spite of problems it faces due to the development tag.

This is perhaps one of India's most elaborate temples, of wait, the world's most elaborate temples. You can't believe your eyes when you see the pain taken to build it.

I went with HDR to highlight all the drama, and high ISO to capture in uber low light, but words fail to describe this beauty.

Fish flock to the steps on the banks of river Thunga at Sringeri to feed on the rice puffs and biscuits that people feed. Its quite a sight to see them jump up to catch food.
