Thanks for all the messages and support everyone! I just got back from my trip to Bible School in Austria and then travels around Europe on January 6th, it has been extremely busy and crazy with the Earthquake that hit Port Au Prince. Thankfully it was quite light out here in Les Cayes and there is very little destruction. My family is alright and we've been helping in many different areas. Our mission hospital here started receiving injured/wounded people from Port Au Prince a couple days after it happened and so we've been very busy over there, translating and assisting with unloading and transporting patients.

Hope you can see what a beautiful country this is, even now, in this time of desperation. Despite what most of the news is saying.

Took this shot a couple Sundays ago at our Sunday School Feeding Program. We have over 700 children coming every Sunday now. Reminded me of one of my favorite songs, "Give Me Your Eyes" by Brandon Heath.

Hello Again!

We arrived back in Haiti about a week and a half ago and have been hit by both Hurricane Hanna and Hurricane Ike... You may have seen some of my photo's of the flooding caused by hurricane Hanna on fox news...

I took this shot in Florida. It's at a little lake called lake Geneva. About an hour from Ocala. It was a 30 second exposure and I rested my camera on the dock.

Good Morning Flickr Friends!

I'm sorry about how long it has been since I've uploaded pictures and come and stopped by your streams! We had a big youth team here for 10 days from our hometown, Kamloops, British Columbia. They got a ton accomplished and it went extremely well. Tomorrow my family leaves to the U.S. for about a month and a half of furlough/vacation/visiting people that have come on teams and support us here. This will be my last upload until we return at the end of August, then I should have a bunch of new uploads for you guys :).

Vivitar 285 HV on a stand directly behind and below model at 1/16 power with a blue gel pointing up at the wall.

All synced with Cactus V2s transmitter and receivers.

Big fan to camera left at it's lowest setting to blow hair.

Hey Everyone!

It has been a very long time since I've put anything up on flickr! I'm really sorry about that. I've been crazy busy with teams and finishing up school, I hope to finish by the end of this week :).

Strobist info: I was under an umbrella with my 50mm f1.8 and had a cactus V2s transmitter mounted in the flash shoe mount.

Vivitar 285HV and Opteka EF600DG both camera right on 1/4 power. Both triggered by Cactus V2s receivers.

I did a session a few days ago, took about 20-30 minutes, then took his family copies of 10 color and 7 b&w about 5 hours later.

I think they were happy with them, this is my favorite of the shoot.

Vivitar 285HV with an inflatable diffuser below camera, and a bare Vivitar 285 HV high and camera left.
