It looks like a little deer, but this is the mature size. It looks very bizarre as it had tusks came out of their mouth like a wild boar. The world is wonderful with strange creatures waiting to be discovered.

Ring-tailed lemurs are native to south and southwestern Madagascar. They're categorized as new world monkeys. Their main diet are tamarind and insects.

After some strolling around the cage, it decided to take a rest in his nest at the corner, accessing through a tree branch. I've never seen this animal before. According to Wikipedia, it is the largest carnivorous animal in Madagascar. Though resembles a feline, it's genetically closer to a mongoose. Its main diets are small lemurs and medium-size mammals.

I remembered using my Sigma polarizing filter on this one. :-) Though not all reflection from the glass window is cut, but the most important part is fine.

Jaguar from Happy Hollow Park and Zoo. This was shot through the glass window so I had to do a little more post processing work on it so there won't be a blue tint. I also had to make up for the lack of contrast because of the glass wasn't as clear as the lens. I think this one is handheld, too.... Anyways, I'm satisfied with it, just need some more work than usual. :-) It's a pretty animal. Have to do it some justice. It's main food source in the wild is capybara as written on the info panel next to it.

After hearing what happened in Japan, let's hope everything will be alright. 8.9 is seriously big quake (each +1 on Richter is 10x larger. Sense of safety can be illusionary. Life is irregular; one day it exists, another day it's gone. Let's be compassionate to each other while we're still here.

This capybara lives in a cell very close to a jaguar (it's in a neighbor cell, diagnally across). Capybara is the largest rodent in the world. Native to South America. It's the size a small pig (though quite a lot bigger than a miniature pig). This one is about 3-4 feet long.

Used x=Polariod+blue preset. I think this is better than the real Polaroid. :-D
