I really need to force myself to go out and view some fall colors through my viewfinder. Other than some snapshots at my son's football games, I haven't used my camera. Tendonitis has found it's way into my shoulder, from my spine injury last December. It's pretty painful and hard to do much activity without extra pain. I start physical therapy this week, 12 wks of it. I'm praying it works so I don't find myself back on the operating table again!

While I was taking this photo, I heard branches cracking behind me in the woods. My first thought was, bears! I glanced to see how far I was from my vehicle :P before looking behind me. I saw five huge bucks coming down the hill. They each crossed the road and hopped the fence to feed in the field. Was quite the site. Unfortunately, I had my wide angle on, so just stood and watched. Luckily, my family used the video cam to record them.

We saw so much wildlife the evening we drove through Cades Cove, it was exciting. Unfortunately, every time we saw wildlife, I either had the wrong lens on, or it was too late to get a fast enough shutter speed on my telephoto. This was shot wide open at a higher ISO.

Just got home from a fun family vacation to the Smoky Mountains in TN. Needed a break from laundry, so thought I'd post a photo. I didn't make too many great photos. Is hard to play photographer with the family. Was still a blast though.
