This is a tribute to my Mother and a Reflection of my Life.

First off, My Mother has Cancer.

My Mother and I have never had a relationship,not a healthy one. ...BUT she is my Mother and I respect that. There was abuse of all sorts and foster care and many lessons that NO Child should learn. My Mother had a rough life but took it out on US. Therefore my reflections are on the GOOD things that have come out of this.....I have made my life a better place for ME and did what I could for my brothers and sister.

They chose to live the life they have and are Bitter. I chose to move on and get help and then help others.....that made me the person that I am today. I think that I turned out pretty good and I am proud of who I am.

My mother's cancer is terminal now and they have called in the rest of the family. My Aunt called and told me that "Self Preservation" is the best option and I have choices.
To see my Mother and feel the pain all over again and say that I saw her or to what???
pretend that nothing goes on and let the Guilt fester....or Let Go and Let God.

I think right now I will Let Go and Let God take over.

My Mother Passed away on Saturday,January 23/10.
I got to spend some time with her at the hosptal.
The thing I Will remember is she was drifting in and out of a sleep. She had a Betty Boop Doll that she loved at the hospital. I noticed that she was awakening so I covered Betty Boop's eyes with her hands and when my Mother woke up...I said"Look who is here Mom....Peek a Boo' and took Boops hands away from the eyes. The smile on my Mother's face was Priceless. I will remember that always.
We may not have been close during life but in the end...all was good.

This photo was taken early one morning on my way to work. This old guy was going by and we talked as he paddled. It was a morning when I felt so alone and it happens to everyone. BUT after talking to him, I remember how good of a life I have. He smiled with his wonderful rugged face kept on going.We are truely Blessed with Inspiration when needed. He was mine for the day. God bless and take care of him !
