My colleague Maria and her husband Peter took their sons to Lake Placid, upstate New York, a while ago for an ice hockey tournament. They gladly took Wojo along to the winter getaway! Lake Placid hosted the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympic Games.

Thank you Maria!

It's been a running joke that we should eat at Bob Evans restaurant. During our 3rd roadtrip to Ohio, we finally made a lunch stop at Bob Evans.

Let's just put it this way... very (overly) tasty. If I eat here every day, you may as well pre-order me a coffin for all the sodium and fat that I'm eating.

Once is enough.

Back when saving -- rather than spending -- money was a virtue, in 1849, Samual H. Mather founded the Society for Savings as a mutual bank (co-op bank). In 1958, the Society was de-mutualized/ de-mutualised to become a public company, becoming Society National Bank.
In 1993, Key Bank and Society Bank merged, retaining the name Key but the combined bank chose Society's home base of Cleverland as the new headquarters. This historic Society National Bank is now part of the modern skyscraper Key Tower.
