This box blade isn't going to be pushing anymore snow this season in Minnesota, I suspect.

The "box" is underneath. The bolts hold the gray flap on, which, when the whole thing pushes forward in snow, keeps more snow in the box, and pushes it out in a wave under the flap.

The gray area in upper right is the path around candlestick pond that I walk on most days. This equipment is parked in a lot that abuts the path in one corner.

This giant earth and snow moving blade is between jobs as the snow season leads into the landscape season, and had nothing better to do than push against a leaf stem.

Reminds me of a giant row of speakers, ready to blare some message should they be plugged in again.

Photos from older phones can be pretty bad; this one needed a lot of work. The shadows were so bad I just partially replaced the shirt and headphones with images sourced elsewhere. (I have yet to re-add finished facial texture and shadows back in.)

Our neighbor down the block heats their home with wood—this is one of many firewood piles on their property. I took this shot of dry wood on a sunny day, and played in Photoshop to create this look :-)

See the bird? This tree is taller than those surrounding it at the west end of our little pond and park where I often walk around sunset. Shot angled up to avoid seeing buildings and other trees.

We live a couple blocks from a school bus depot near Cedar Lk and Louisiana (W of Minneapolis). Seeing them close together seemed to emphasize how shiny they were. Took this looking down from a railroad track embankment through some trees. ☺

Another tree that glowed in the fog in the by the park where we walk. You can see the first tree I photographed ever so faintly in the background on the other median strip in the background.

During the day, I never noticed that the light, tree and parking lot lines intersected! Saw it during a walk in the fog around the nearby lake after the rain ended. Not quite a redwood in the light but interesting. Practically right outside our door.
