I've given this quite a bit of treatment in photoshop just to make a fairly dull image a bit more dramatic! I used the raw converter to bring out the fill-in light from one exposure.

I've used a cokin filter to give this a very different feel. I also used a B+W 502 gradient. I didn't have my tripod with me so had to use the aperture wide open, the photo is a bit soft because of this! Although I love the sigma 10-20mm, It doesn't seem to perform that great wide open. or maybe it's just my particular lens!

The weather hasn't been that great lately so thought I would go through some of my older photos.

Hadleigh Castle at Dusk II

Another of Hadleigh castle, this time a bit more of a silohette. The warm light is reflecting from the street lights in distant Leigh on Sea.

30 second exposure at f8. Focal length is 11mm. This photo had a very warm feel to it so I compensated the white balance quite a bit.
