Despite the cold weather blues judyboy and myself decided to brave the harsh weather and make our way to I195 East Bound in Fox Point Providence for a night shoot. The demolition being done there to remove the old highway is amazing.
There are heavy duty dump trucks and excavators everywhere, which made for some interesting shots with the 8mm fisheye. I have to admit that I am using this lens about 80% of the time now and just can’t get enough of the distortion. Check out the results for yourself.

Ah yes the saga continues with the 8mm traffic shots. Taken on the point street bridge in providence.

I got the title from Artie who commented on my last upload. He is in my opinion the master of HDR photography. I dare anyone to challenge my claim. ;)

Beavertail State Park located in Jamestown, Rhode Island. This is the South Eastern side of the park. Next stop from this point I believe would be the Azores or if staying true to the course, some Island off of Africa.

Ok so here is the deal. I went out to do a shoot at Beavertail Point for a friend of mine. He wants a print to give to someone for a gift at Christmas time and some extra prints for his office.

Now the sun was very bright yesterday and I don't have filters for all of my lenses so I had a lot of glare. I tthought I would upload this shot as it was the "worst" one I took in my opinion so it gets the most attention.

I guess my point is that it's fun to take what you consider your worst shot and make it a priority to find the good in it.

I kind of like it now :)

Wow what an adventure this particular night shoot was. This time around the crew consisted of judyboy, and threshold and myself.

The location was Pontiac Mills in Cranston, Rhode Island, the temperature was COLD and we had an arsenal of equipment ready to tackle this month’s full moon. There were 7 cameras & 7 tripods in tow.

There was an awesome haze like glow to the moon as seen in some of the shots. We set up on the bridge just above the water fall about halfway down the mill. On one side the water was like glass and on the other it was not so calm. You can even see the new hotel that was erected where they tore down some of the mill. judyboy has a link to more information about that.

Can’t wait till December’s full moon as the “all nighters crew” will be on the prowl at some undisclosed location, only to be discovered upon posting here. :)

Asain Skull Lantern Tattoo

Ahh yet again another "session 1" inside the right arm. I really should finish others I have but I like bouncing around.

I chose a combination between a skull and a lantern of the Asain orientation. I can't ait for this one to be done as it will complete the full half sleeve.

I am open to suggestions for the left arm :)

Just like the title says. Heatheran and I doing some reading in the library on the 10th floor at Sloan-Kettering Memorial Hospital. That was night number six that we have been here and looks like we might finally be able to go home. She is finally off of the I.V. and doing much better.

The staff have been great here and in a small sort of way, I will miss this place but at the same time I hope to never spend another night here which would simply mean "cancer free".

Monday night I ventured out with
judyboy,threshold,rizzolo,andskazama. We ended up at Harris Avenue in Providence and had a great time capturing shots of I95 and the surrounding area.

I decided to break out the sigma 8mm round frame fisheye and go for a very surreal feel and look to my shots. I have a feeling there will be many good captures by the whole group. Enjoy!

Wednesday night I ventured out once again with
judyboy,threshold,rizzolo,andskazama. This time we ended up at the old train bridge connecting providence with East Providence then made our way to the Washington Bridge construction site and had a great time capturing shots of I195 and the surrounding area.

I decided to break out the sigma 8mm round frame fisheye yet again :) and go for some more surreal shots. I have a feeling there will be many good captures by the whole group.

I was pleased with the sharp detail of the tracks which were well lit by the full moon.
