Hair is cut and blow-dried sleek at the salon. Should have worn a green or purple scarf to tie in the skirt or changed the bag, but I was in too much of a hurry and went with a grey scarf to match the bag+gloves. Did not work out so harmoniously.

Workwear. It was quite difficult to find anything in olive green, as it is not in the spring color palette, but I did find this one softer green shirt at H&M. Wearing this same outfit also for afternoon tea with a friend. (Olive green tights with no holes, I swear.)

It is the 7th Restaurant Day and I´ve even skipped breakfast to be able to eat in more pop-up restaurants. Great Saturday in my books. (The recently purchased red laced boots have proved to be so comfy, I got an almost similar model in black. Winter, I´m ready.)

Visiting the library. The color of these booties is so rare and beautiful, but still they have to go. I´m just not a fan of pointed toe and the top edge scrathes/digs into my foot. Old outfits with the dress and the boots are in the comments.

I was very brave today, as I dug into the storage cellar in search of this purple coat. It took a lot of digging, but here it is. Managed to throw away some utterly useless items and I feel the cellar could use some more attention. (A wooden owl statue behind me brings Twin Peaks nostalgia.)

A snowstorm hit Finland´s coastline and all this snow came down, up, and sideways during yesterday. The traffic was chaotic, as the roads and rails were covered so fast. Today it had quiteted down and we got to enjoy the fresh whiteness and its light. I´m well equipped for winter.

Visiting the Winter Garden (from 1893) after its thorough renovation. I really enjoyed the grounds outside and the nostalgic quietness of the glass house. Glorious pink orchids were blooming. (My hair seems to be growing at a mad pace, like it was still summer. Let´s keep that up.)

This february The Helsinki Burlesque Festival is celebrating its 5th anniversary and the party theme is "Over the Rainbow". As the main festival week approaches, here´s what I wore to the opening party of "Glitter and Mayhem" photography exhibition.
