Strobist info: 2 strips of paper backlit with Sigma EF-500 Supers at 1/4 to 1/8 power, Travelite/Bowens monolight with a gridded snoot and blue gel filter firing on a black velveteen background, and a big black cloth covering the whole "set" to minimize reflections of my dining room.

Bombay Beach Airstream trailer disintigrating into the mud at the Salton Sea.

Strobist: Ambinet ISO 200, f/5.0 @ 0.5 sec. Radio slaved Canon 580EX II with a red gel inside at full power, and optically slaved blue gelled Sigma EF-500 behind camera / right on either half or full power.

Again, inspired somewhat by Troy Paiva's "Lost America" work.

This is my first 5D image that I've shared (just got the camera yesterday and I love it). On further examination, I wish I had a bit more modeling on the bunny, so you could see the sugar crystals. Oh well, I already ate it and one of the eggs, so it's too late now.

Pretty big dragonfly sitting on a "horsetail." Somewhat cropped image (about a third of the whole thing).

I would have prefered a larger depth of field, but I was probably shooting wide open.

Pretty big dragonfly I found while scouting a wedding location (my first wedding shoot with a ceremony in a "Medicine Circle).

Anyway, taken with a 70-200 4L, not a true macro lens, but the dragonfly is big enough to fake it!
