My wife had surgery in October. Since then, she developed an infection and has spent two full weeks in the hospital for a surgery that would have normally require only a two day stay. I've learned what it's like to be a single parent, and have gone through every emotion that I have in me. Today, I got a phone call. I finally get my wife back. This is a wonderful day...

Snow flurries again this morning. Jake and I went out for a few shots... I'm going to have to find a good pair of gloves for photography. It was below freezing, the wind was blowing, and I realized that the cold is affecting my bare hands more than it ever has in the past. Have a good weekend everybody. :)

It's been a really busy week at the store. Lots to do and no time to play. We had to move the pressure pump at the home farm into the basement of the house today. It was in the barn for many years, but for the first time since the barn was built in 1917, there will be no cows inside to keep the water from freezing. It was absolutely miserable outside, but I needed my fix of pics anyway. These two shots pretty much sum up what the weather was like... Hope everyone had a great week and weekend! I haven't been around the computer much... :(

It's changing by the hour. The valleys are just full of trees that are brown. If you look in the larger sizes, my favorite part of this shot is a couple of bare trees in a clearing near the center of the shot with a neat circle of leaves at the ground below. :) Will be working late tonight... :(
