Armstrong Bridge which overlooks Jesmond Dene. The bridge is famous for the Sunday 'market' (In the summer months) where you will see many local Photographers selling their scenic prints. About 10min walk from my house!

(It's just behind Newcastle Airport in case your wondering).

I took the very same shot back in 1993 with a Pentax (film) and printed it myself. Just had to re-live it again in digital!!
The path leads down to a bridge which was covered in 3" of solid ice from the overflowed stream.
