This little bundle of love was a gift from the feral cat that took residence in our back yard. Before I could catch the mamma and have her fixed she had a littler of kittens and this little angel is my little love....most of the time :-) ....she is now an indoor cat. Her mamma still has residence in our backyard and is well taken care of but I cannot pet her no matter how much I try to work with her. She is well feed has a comfy place to sleep and can view her baby through the sliding glass door. Jez is full of life and love, I just adore her.

Went to a horse show in Pomona, CA and saw this guy patiently waiting for his performance. Almost looks like makeup was added to his eyes.

A friend of my husband owns this beauty named Keno. This photo was taken at the Pomona, California horse show. I have always loved horses, my uncle had a ranch in the valley and raised Shetland Ponies. He had one he use to say was mine, whose name was Hippo. Very gentle and slow for a little one just learning to ride.

Half Dome - Yosemite 2013

In February a group of Disney photographers went on a photography trip to beautiful Yosemite National Park in California to photograph Horsetail Falls. Before we went through the famous tunnel we stopped along the road and I saw the opportunity to take a framed photo of Half Dome through the draping branches. If you have never had the opportunity to visit Yosemite, you must place it on your list of places to see, you will not be disappointed. Yosemite is one of my favorite places on earth, such magnificent beauty.

I decided to post first an image of Horsetail Falls since that is why the second week of February was selected for the Flickr group photography adventure to Yosemite. I did not expect to see so many photographers, they were every where. I was anxious to see this natural wonder since it is suppose to replicate the Fire Fall that took place from the top of Glacier Point in the late 1890's and was discontinued in 1969 due to environmental issues. Galen Rowell brought back to life the mystic of the Fire Fall when he captured the beautiful image of Horsetail Falls on El Capitan and now photographers from all over the world come to photograph this amazing feat of nature.
Please visit the photostreams of Gregg Cooper, WJ McIntosh, Ryan Pastorino, Tom Bricker, Spread the Magic, Todd Hurley and Don Sullivan for amazing images from our Yosemite photo adventure. Manhattan Beach, California 100th Anniversary

My hometown, Manhattan Beach, California just ended the year long Centennial celebration. At Christmas the city always puts up this wonderful tree on the roundhouse with lights twinkling all across the pier. I always delight in seeing this and thought I needed to capture it's image especially since it is the 100th Anniversary.

I love Disneyland at all times of the year but Christmas is my favorite season. I haven't had a chance to see California Adventure yet all decked out for Christmas but will be there this coming week. I just can't get enough of the parks during Christmas!

In Big Thunder Ranch during Halloween there is a tent were the villains have meet and greets or maybe to conjure up some spells. Cruella was playing with the apple the Evil Queen was planning for Snow White and warned that the Queen would't be happy but needless to say she didn't give a hoot.

During Halloween Time at Disneyland, Space Mountain turns into Ghost Galaxy. It is interesting to watch the mountain structure change to various creepy colors, hear pounding, growling and periodically see dents appear on the surface of the mountain.

We went to Mickey's Halloween Party on Tuesday, October 23 and saw this fantastic group portraying ghosts from the Haunted Mansion. I thought they looked so great I had to share.

To our surprise the Endeavour made a turn and passed behind California Screamin'. If you look closely you can see the Endeavour and both the escort jets in three of the triangles of the scaffolding.
