A refraction of tension for once reveals a peaceable world in view
Through hinterland an attachment to the beyond is formed
Elements and senses merge within a common self,
As if the moment is chosen, in a life-finding call
To the onwards and upwards, questions for once can wait
We are at once finding and withstanding answers through that ethereal gate

Nothing goes wrong in an instant of discovering the correct path
There Nature's fame is legendary-yet-modest in depth
Wanton of nothing a second is all we need to live
Unto death's departure reality may be an apparition
But to tread this path is proof of a calling ringing in our ears
The heart a recipient able to allay the deepest and darkest fears

Every being has eyes within that see while closed,
Let not the evil deceive us, dupe us, or even kill us
Every life is an asset, if we choose it to be so
Let not the devil in us, steal from us, the good in us
Every soul can touch another, like warmth, like ice
But nothing that lasts forever can hurt so much as,
The shattering of an illusion, that makes One think Twice

It's the indispensible belief losing faith upon wasted invention
The congregation of fear fading with time and a silent tear
Throwing away restraint, abandoning refinements rule
Going it alone, when a lone step is as good as a stride
It's very success depending on it, for once one is better than two
And as it happens, Nature is ultimately the One upon us to wholly imbue.

From the inside I can feel a change coming over me,
Says the line from a song sung so enedearing long
Two angels and a dream they title an album
It is my reverie tilt dawn
That alludes to an illusion balancing a single moment
In fright, this light catapults a thought across
From childhood enthusing over easy movement
To the languidity of a bough of wisdom staring-
Truth in the face of unfancied tears
Streaming round the corner of emotion,
Curved by the years, yet somehow sentimetally beautiful
This is reverie
This is a shift, tilting a feeling beyond the physical
Through the harp-shaped Oak,
Beneath the Pine-needled-Wensum-window-view
That today comes back into a phase of redicovered sound
It has the look which today possesses as needs must
The flavour of the month assured, I am hungry for more
Toasting a wine-hued light that riverbanks drink with necessary ease
Musings within a trinket of life re-evaluate the antique in us all
Never lessening the ages, no fewer lines may be written
For every wrinkle a chapter, each scar a story
We are each to our own,
And yet interlinked is every emotion, each pain,
We feel only different by time, and not by a life born to rhyme.

An invitation to an explanation of long-awaited questions answered in hope not blood
For the day is endless if it exists at all, and it does,
We are eternal within the heart of a moment lived to the full
At which time it isn't so hard to see, or feel life in sight
Upon the plain of recovery where nothing ever looks the same two days in a row
When two ways are offered, one of a life unzipped at night
And the other expresses something extraordinary

Then, and only then, is it possible to challenge all that death would leave behind
It's wake is a sorrowful tale of no index and without a preface to grace
A lifetime spent waiting in vain, always within a scent of riches
Nature's wealthy vocabulary stems from a survivalist instinct, intact
With benedictine tower or an alcove of ages past,
Everyday alive a peak is reached somewhere by someone finding a fact
As if the natural course is a matter for questioning, why not answer in admirable silence

So today ironing away all that bitterly stained our yesterday
We sweat on indecision in wait for the neglected Nature to save us
She forever free need not be slave to our whims and fancies, for She is of Veritas Aequitas
Let it be a lesson in the love of rewards; materialistic garb and the privy purse
Such gank-domination of our underclass stinks beyond reason, out of mercy's reach
Yet life is forever winnable, completely gracious it's very own offering is not a curse,
So challenge not such asking, till our own imperfections are recognised; unto us teach!
