Sunday May 16th. 5:59AM.

Woke up just before the dawn was about to happen, stretched while still laying in bed. Mr WeeNee was instantly wanting to poke me and say hello, wiggling and smiling in his usual way.

I could just see a sliver of light peeking in through the window which meant there may be a a good sun rise.

Sure enough there was clouds in the sky and they were just starting to turn red from the tropical sun.

Knowing the 17-55 2.8 lens was mounted on the D50 and the clock was ticking i grabbed the camera and stepped out on the front porch.
Usually I mount the camera on a tri-pod for sun shots but not this time.
Holding as still as possible I fired off
a dozen rounds hoping a couple might turn out usable.

There is jungle birds chirping, singing, quaking, squeaking and buzzing around along with the faint distant sound of old Thai music coming from a Buddhist temple.

Mr WeeNee and The Worm are taking turns trying to lick my exposed toes while I am desperately trying to hold still as not to get blurry photos.

Woke up late, rolled over and saw this sun show happening outside the window.
Knowing this is only good for a couple of minutes I grabbed the camera and ran outside.
My bare feet were not real happy as I ran across the front yard where it slopes down to the river.
Lots of pointy things poking and gouging my toes plus now the Ants have made there presents known.Eucalyptus trees on right, bamboo on the left.

Anyway enough whining and sniveling, raised the camera and started shooting as the sun colors were shifting fast.

All hand held while jumping around bare foot..................;-)

This is from last night. Went out this morning for the subrise and took a fall.
Camera/lens/tripod are just fine but I went straight down a 20ft rock bank into the tall grass and swamp.It was still pitch black out . Camera was set up on the tripod and I was just going to get some brush out of the way .So I have plenty of photos that I will up load over time while I lay here whinning and sniveling .........;-0

This storm came in fast with lightining and big wind. The tiny little specks you see
are birds caught up in the wind and struggling to get out.

This Buddha is all so in the Tortoise Temple..If you look in my sunset and temple sets this is the temple you see the most of.Not this little one , the Big One !
