As was the case with most public toilets in China (excluding those in our hotels), I couldn't wait to get over & done with my business & leave the smelly cubicle. Sorry but I really couldn't stand the stinko toilets.

I do however sincerely like the scenery in many parts of China & consider it more authentic & beautiful than Korea or Taiwan (thgh the last 2 are much more popular amongst the youngsters & young adults in Singapore, influenced by the many Korean & Taiwanese love dramas on TV).

In fact, I consider the scenery in various parts of China comparable or better than Europe or other parts of the world (minus the smelly toilets & some undesirable cultural behaviours).

Couldn't resist taking a pic of this creepy crawly before I ran out as usual for this one. Used flash cos it was dim in the toilet. That's something so magical & fairy-like about hairy, fluffy insects that I am so fascinated with.

The insects in the tropical climate back in Singapore aren't hairy or fluffy at all. While the folks here wear thick layers of jackets, shawls & hats, we walk around in T-shirts & shorts. Same goes for our creepy crawlies. Those back home can't afford to be hairy or fluffy. They'll die of heat stroke that way. Ha ha...

P.S: There weren't another one else, especially the locals, when I took this in the toilet. I was the last (deliberately) to leave the stinky toilets. The locals would have thought me weird to take such a great interest in a common moth that they would bother to take a 2nd glance at.
