hihi my dear friends, how have you guys been? :) didn't realize it's been almost 3 months since i logged on to flickr... i've been mostly away since summer and without my computer most of the time the past few months, so here is a little christmas ecard i did on my iphone (sorry about the size quality.) pompom's fur has all grown back from his summer shave, so he's all fluffy again. ;D

i hope all my friends here (and outside of flickr) are doing well and enjoying this wonderful holiday season with your loved ones. it's been a year of many goodbyes for me and i'm still learning that it's part of life... but i'm very grateful and thankful for all the lessons learnt and all the blessings in my life (my greatest joy this year has got to be becoming an aunt again twice within a month, and thank you dear friends for sharing my happiness with me! ^^ xxx!!)

...so, it's that time of the year again...i want to thank you for your generous friendships and support (be it on flickr or outside the virtual world), and i hope i've brought you some silly chuckles and smiles through some of my photos throughout the year(s). i especially want to thank those who still visit my flickr while i was away, who sent me short messages via emails, facebook, twitter, blogs, texts, ecards, phone calls, letters through snail-mail...to see how i'm doing, and to those who sent me care packages (i'm soooooo sorry if some of those packages got returned back to you by my post office while i was away xxxx) i thank you from the bottom of my heart for thinking of me when i haven't been much of a communicator this year (esp after summer.) but yes, i have not stopped taking non-work related photos, and have continued my photo diary" (maybe some day i'll share them all here ^_~)

anyway, i won't be around much until after new year, but i've missed you guys dearly, my dear friends, and your wonderful and inspiring photos (and all the yummilicious ones, too! hehe ^^) i just had to drop by to wish you and your loved ones a very happy happy merry christmas (happy holidays to you if you don't celebrate christmas ^^) may the holiday season brings out the best in you with kindness and love, remembering all your loved ones and the important things in life... thinking of and giving back to those less fortunate than us. it's been a super busy week, and this was my quick dinner at home late last night. didn't get a chance to do grocery shopping over the weekend, so i just whipped up something quick and simple from whatever i have 'reserved' at home. ;) seaweed and chili pepper flakes atop bed of green tea soba and packed-ready veggie curry in less than 30minutes. :) what did you have for dinner last night? ;)

earlier this month, my sister-in-law gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and earlier this week, my sister has given birth to a healthy beautiful baby boy!!!! :))))) i was out of town when my sister went into labor. these photos were taken at the hospital, on the first, second and third day after baby g's born. :) hehe, i feel so blessed and overjoyed to be an aunt twice in a month!! :))))) sharing the wonderful news with you guys! hehe, i can't stop smiling... *hugs* xoxoxxx!! ^^

* a little side note: ...my friend saw a 'giant' french macaron (pictured above) when he went to lunch at a museum cafe recently and he got me one to try. :) that has to be the biggest macaron i've ever had/seen, but i must admit, it wasn't too good (too moist, too flat and too sweet.) still i was touched that my friend would think of me when he saw the macaron. ^^

pompom had a routine checkup and some blood tests done at the vet earlier last month. he doesn't like going to the animal hospital, and always gets very defensive and extremely nervous while he's there. so, he's been asked to put on a 'cage muzzle' before going to the hospital, otherwise it would be almost impossible for anyone (except his mommy :p) to go near him at the vet. ...you can read a little bit more about his vet visit and for a little video clip of his day here, or you can go straight to my youtube to watch it. enjoy! :)

...can't believe it's may already! where did april go? :p it's been awhile (again) and my home computer has been acting up... while finally trying to log on, silly me forgot both my flickr/yahoo and youtube passwords. :p hope you're enjoying a lovely springtime. ^^ xoxo
