This is Rome: not the city, but the effect filter in the Flickr mobile app. (Following some preliminary abuse in Pixlr Express).

No flowers today but happy Valentine's to all who observe the compulsory rituals of pink postcards, heart-shaped cookies and balloons, and candle-lit restaurants. That's all good - don't forget to love each other!

Just a poster in a shop window, selling eyewear - in a largely Muslim country. A couple of years ago some of the ads in the controversial Tom Ford series were banned in some Western countries, but remained prominently displayd here for many months - evidence of secular/religious tolerance and certainly of a sense of humour.
