Jaws of Death

eurisko posted a photo:

I've been bit by Sharks, Stung by things that have not been identified, Run over by boats, spit out of lava tubes, faced off with Tiger Sharks, had my mask ripped off by strong currents, been shoved to the side like a twig by Whale Sharks, Stuck in a sunken vessel, Attached by Titian Trigger Fish, Survived novice divers, Bitched slapped by Manta Rays, But I have never encountered such a heinous creature as this Clown Fish. My God look at the teeth on this thing. He destroyed the flat port on the camera and then went for my heart. The only thing that saved me was beating him off with my rubber chicken.

Ok, enough drama. Normally I would not bore anyone with another shot of a clown fish but check out his eye.

Mr Bob said to take opportunity when they present themselves. This was taken in 3 meters of water on the side of the reef. The strong surge at the wreck site kept pulling these little guys off of there Sea Anenome. With the dynamic range of the D3 and a full blast from both SB105 produced this shot.

Nikon D3 in a Sea n Sea Housing with Dome Port, 20mm prime f/18. 1/320 two SB105 at full on 16" ultralite arms tucked under the camera (I was going into the surf for some shots) Lens working distance of 25cm.
