Looked out of the office window and saw this dude through the branches.

He sat there for long enough to find my camera, lens and didn't even startle when I opened the back door and walked down the garden.

The snow it great for showing them but it makes shooting them a lot more difficult. I need a better lens with less chromatic aberration if I am going to live in this deer infested arctic wilderness.

And Whilst we're at it, what the hell is this? I mean what is it? I've got loads of photos of all sorts of different Shetland based birds. They could be anything. I could have a Lesser Spotted Cor Blimey in this set of photos and I'd have no idea!

This is opposite the Ring of Brodgar on Orkney. Some seals and some swans. I think I need a better zoom lens if I am going to take wildlife shots.

I was looking at the dirty dishes in the kitchen when I saw movement out of the window. I bolted it upstairs to my office window where I knew I'd left my camera. Fortunately I also left the telephoto lens on it.

Now I know I need a better telephoto lens if I am going to work in an office that faces out into the countryside!
