Powerful medallions are split amongst the 7 bosses, and those must be obtained to move forward in the mission. The REAL Boss has a much more "explosive" agenda than than just kidnapping helpless Professors.

-->> The apples apply to Star Wars like "Force Powers" that the Hermit will teach Billy as he advances in the game. Things like ninja kicks and levitating. The "secret character" is actually a good guy, sent in by SABRE perhaps to drop in goodies and power ups to help Bang on his mission.

The look of the flying creature will change depending on which suit Bang is wearing.

Thus to will some enemies, expressions, explosions, cut-scenes, and even Billy's "DEATH ANGEL" when he is killed.

Billy's various suit-costumes aren't just Power-upgrades. They effect the outcome appearance of certain elements of the game and actually enhance it making it trivially more fun !!

-->> .. spending time collecting items like money, apples and hearts help to get some of the best force powers and things like much needed weapons and suits pays off. Certain areas in the mountains contain quickly regenerating enemies that you can quickly dispatch for fast power-ups.

It may take a little while but building up your reserves will really help propel Sgt. Bang in advancement of his mission.
