We had an afternoon in Paris in the right area, so we thought we'd try to recreate one of my favourite photos I've ever taken at Jean Nouvel's Arab Institue building.

...Which, it became apparent, was closed on Mondays. Hrmph.

...which is bigger than I'd always imagined. Anyway, this is on the (rusty) boat leaving (rusty) Algeciras. Not quite how they advertised it in 1930, but dramatic nonetheless!

This was the roof terrace of the little guesthouse where we stayed in Ronda - a lovely spot to enjoy a bottle of wine and game of carcasonne in the sun.

It's neat to get on a train in the evening in Paris then get off again the next morning in Madrid and be in this gallery within half an hour or so.
