I was looking through my archives from summertime last year and rediscovered this photograph. It’s from the official opening of Seattle’s South Lake Union Park, which took a number of years to create and organize. The makeover was well worth the wait, I can recall. It was a marvelous opening day -- the sun was shining (always a plus for Seattleites), and the temperature was warm (another plus).
