This might not sound so odd were it not for the fact that we live very near the top of a high rise apartment building. Not a single one of these items belong to my husband and I, instead they must have blown down (or up, if the wind was strong enough) from neighboring balconies and windows. <br /> <br /> We've found everything from ashtrays to broken beer bottles, dirty t-shirts to a Disney DVD (just the disk, not the case). Some items (like a small stripped floor mat) have been large, others much smaller like the washers pictured here. <br /> <br /> They showed up one day, their rust and faded silver hues reminding me of coins dropped from the residents of some nation in the sky.
