This photo was taken from a plane (Cebu Pacific Airline) passing over the Calapan-Batangas RORO (Roll-On-Roll-Off) route in one of my trips from San Jose Occ. Mindoro to Manila, Philippines. The bigger island is Isla Verde, which belongs to Batangas City. Notice a RORO boat approaching the two smaller islands, around 15 minutes more before reaching the port of Calapan City where I come from.

Isla Verde Passage (Verde Island Passages) is one of the busiest sea lanes in the Philippines. It is located between Batangas and Oriental Mindoro. Commercial and industrial ships pass through this passage to reach Manila from their port of origin in the south. They also use this sea lane to reach the southern part of the country from the Port of Manila.
