[just an update] welp... in the past 6 months since i've truly been on here:

-my oldest brother passed away at 25 years old.
-i have barely held a camera.
-i have begun the transition into living on my own as an adult (omfg).
-i relied on escapism to get me through some hard times.
-i got really interested in Korea again.
-i have made great friends.
-and i have spent a ton of time there, on my bed, listening to music and tuning out.

it's been the most stressful time in my life so far. i'm still kind of in a daze lol

I didn't think I would be this busy, but I can't even rest.

I really miss having the time and inspiration to take pictures, but I'm getting reacquainted with canvas and oil in the meantime.

I've been really enjoying the changing of the seasons as well. Autumn suits me.

my best friend.

One of the things I love about her is that she’s totally accepting of my dgaf lifestyle. She’ll wake up with me really early on the weekends, so we can eat cereal in our pajamas and watch cartoons while half asleep. This is from yesterday, one of those early mornings.

welp, I'm suffering from a lack of sleep and time. Hopefully things slow down soon.

Sufjan Stevens' All Delighted People EP came out today, and it's so beautiful. I'm relaxing in my backyard, listening to Sufjan and enjoying this last bit of summer.
