Obbe found a huge bank of snow. I let him enjoy it as long as he wanted... I wonder when it will melt away. I can see it in the forest, from my kitchen window. It is still there.

My father would have been 100 years old today, May 18th 2013.
In September, 2013, it is 50 years since he died.
This photo is taken 1940, I think. Mum is 16 years old and dad is 27. I am not sure about the year....
The house in the background is my fathers parental home. That house is still standing there.

Today it was a dog-show 50 km south. Me and Henry went there for a special reason: we wanted to see this breed for real. We have only seen it on pictures on internet. We are interested in this breed. Seems to be a lovely dog. If we get a dog, we will get a Shiba!

The Aurora season is at its end now. Brighter and brighter nights now, makes the Aurora impossible to view. It is there, but you can not see it. The Aurora would have been displayed better if the sky had been dark. We have the bright summer-nights to look forward to now.

I have seen so much moose-traces on my promenades this winter. Finally I got the luck to see them.
I studied them for two hours. At first in the forest, where the calf (from last year) was eating and strolling around the cow, who was lying down ant resting. The calf was running out on the lake, like if it was playful... The cow came after.
