My New Canon

I'll have to be more specific when someone asks me what I want as a gift. I told them I wanted a new Canon assuming they knew I loved photography and Canon cameras. Instead, they got me this...*sigh*.

Actually, this was taken at the Halifax Citadel. When I saw this cannon, I thought this would look great in HDR. After I downloaded my photos to my laptop, I realized I had forgotten to take another exposure shot for outside the windows. Oh well, I still like the shot and I hope you do too.

Fredericton Railway Bridge

Built in 1936, the Fredericton Railway Bridge is now a pedestrian bridge and is part of the NB Trail system and the Trans Canada Trail. According to the city of Fredericton, it is the world's longest walking bridge.

Saint John River

I had to go to the Passport office in Fredericton so I decided to take the scenic route. I'm glad I did because the Saint John River was so calm this morning. It would've been a great day to go kayaking.

Old Shed

On my way to Fredericton this morning, I came across this old shed on the side of the road. When I see old buildings like these, it reminds me of my grandparents and how different and simpler life was back then. If these old buildings could talk, they would have so many interesting stories to say.
