While Super Nemesis Thor continues on an evil path of destruction, Super Zamperla arrives to turn Coney Town into a shiny new plastic paradise. The hopes that Super Zamperla will save Coney, turn to fears that he is just another byproduct of the city's evil doings. The real denizens of the island will have to take matters into their own hands and stand up for their rights and save Coney Town!

This mini-movie pokes fun at both sides of the issue in the redevelopment of Coney Island.

As I turned the corner onto Surf Avenue passing the Cyclone, I finally saw it. There it was in person. The grand Luna Park Gates which I've seen online over the summer. Looking forward to seeing them light up at night next summer.

Part of the A & W (root beer company) Burger Family have stood atop of Paul's Daughter (formally Gregory & Paul's) for many years. The food concession's lease was not released for next year. No word yet on where Mamma Burger and Pappa Burger will go.

Food is good though the menu seems smaller than the old Retro 50 Diner from before. Word says the same owners of the Floridian diner in Brooklyn run this place.

From the Nebraska diner to Retro 50 Diner this place is never that packed but sticks around for some reason. It's always a nice cozy atmosphere with good food. And a stones throw away from the heart of Coney Island. Too bad it's the only diner in Coney.

This new 'plastic amusement park' as Charles Denson called it takes a sleeping winter break before opening up in April 2011. I always thought the old Astroland rides help to create the earie winter howling winds. But I'm glad you could still here the howling.
